Foundation Program

Reading ASSET72fgt8wf8pymvx

Taught on Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00pm by Resident Teacher, Gen Tenzin
1102 Pine St., Philadelphia

For students who wish to deepen their study of Buddha’s teachings beyond the drop-in classes, KMC Philadelphia offers the Foundation Program class.  On Foundation Program, students have the opportunity to study a Buddhist book in detail, from cover to cover. This way of studying provides a unique way of deepening one’s knowledge and experience of Buddhism.

In September, Foundation Program will begin studying the book, How to Understand the Mind, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, which means it is an ideal time for students to join.

On Tuesday September 4th, at 7-9pm, there will be a free Introductory class for anyone interested in starting Foundation Program. In this class, Gen Tenzin will give an introduction to the new book, How to Understand the Mind, and explain how Foundation Program works.

Everyone is welcome to attend. No experience is necessary.

If you are interested in joining Foundation Program and will not be able to attend the Intro Class on Sept 4th, please contact the Education Program Coordinator at:
