Finding Swift Protection: The Empowerment of Buddha Tara
Saturday, December 1st
“Homage to you whose two eyes, like the sun or the full moon, radiate a pure, clear light.”
Tara is a female Buddha, a manifestation of the ultimate wisdom of all the enlightened beings. Because she is a wisdom Buddha and a manifestation of the wind element, she is able to help us swiftly.
On this day, we will receive Tara empowerment and we will receive an explanation and introduction to Tara practice. This practice shows us how to quickly solve our daily problems through a daily meditation practice. The practice of Tara is a Buddhist meditation practice handed down for thousands of years. It involves chanting beautiful praises and receiving a special mantra practice.
Tara is our holy mother who protects us from immediate dangers and guides us in our personal and spiritual development. Just like a mother, she provides us with all the necessary conditions for our spiritual training, and inspires us with her positive energy.
This empowerment and commentary will be given by Resident Teacher, Gen Tenzin.
