Inner Peace Guided Meditation Retreat

During this day retreat, we will nurture our peaceful, compassionate, and wise impulses by meditating on the stages of the path to enlightenment. In the Buddhist tradition, we follow a step by step development of our compassion and wisdom by following a special traditional presentation of Buddha’s teachings and meditations. We will explore the three principal aspects of the spiritual path during these hour-long guided meditation sessions.
This retreat will be based on The New Meditation Handbook, which will be available for purchase at the retreat.
This retreat will be led by Meditation Teacher Julie Francisco.

All sessions are unique and self-contained. Feel free to join any session.
Cost: $5/session or $15/all four
Everyone is welcome. No meditation experience is necessary.
Julie has studied and taught Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She has also engaged in extensive meditation retreat and is well-qualified to introduce others into Buddha’s teachings and meditation practices. Julie shows a clear example of how to be a modern, lay Buddhist practitioner in a busy city and presents Buddha’s teachings in an eloquent and inspiring manner.
