Introductory Foundation Program

This weekly class provides an opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of spiritual life through a systematic study of Kadampa Buddhist texts.

Students will have the opportunity to practice guided meditations, study a meditation text in detail from cover to cover, receive practical advice, have discussions, and make close spiritual friends you’ll have throughout your life.

KMC Philadelphia now offers two Foundation Program classes:

Introductory Foundation Program
Wednesdays at 6:00-8:00pm starting September 4th
This class will be studying the text, The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
This is an introductory level class suitable for beginners.
Taught by Meditation Teacher, Jen DeSantis

Intermediate Foundation Program
Thursdays at 7:00 – 9:00pm starting September 5th
The class is studying the text, How to Understand the Mind, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
This is an intermediate study class, suitable for students with some experience. Taught by Resident Teacher, Gen Tenzin.

Students are welcome to join Foundation Program at any time.

Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary.
