Mala Making Workshop
Saturday, February 10th
10:00am – 1:00pm in Collingswood, NJ
Learn the art of making a traditional Buddhist rosary. Buddhist rosaries, called “malas,” are used during the practice of mantra recitation. Mantra is a Sanskrit word meaning “mind protection.” Reciting mantras draws us closer to Buddha’s good qualities and allows us to be more calm and peaceful. Learn the beading techniques to make a traditional Buddhist mala and begin your practice of mantra recitation.
All beads and supplies will be provided for this workshop and you will take home a completed mala. No experience is necessary. Everyone welcome.
