Gen Tenzin is a Buddhist monk of over 20 years and has taught Kadampa Buddhism extensively for over 21 years throughout the United States. As a senior Kadampa student and teacher, he is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Through emphasizing the Bodhisattva’s way of life, he encourages all the students at the center to bring their practice of Buddha’s teachings into their daily lives, bringing joy to as many people as possible. He has a great depth of understanding of the teachings and is skillful in his presentation by sharing them in an entertaining, approachable, and kind-hearted manner.
