Service Description

Taming the Wild Elephant of our Mind Saturday June 1, 2024 10:30am - 3:00pm With Meditation Teacher, John Baker $25 (FP & TTP discounts apply) If the deluded wild elephant of our mind is not subdued, it will create much suffering for us as it runs between objects of attachment, anger, and jealousy. We do not always possess the ability to abandon our negative thoughts the moment they arise, or to transform them into something beneficial. In this course we’ll discuss how training in mindfulness and alertness can help tame our wild elephant mind so that we may generate many positive qualities, bring happiness to others, and maintain a peaceful mind. Everyone welcome. Session times: Session 1: 10:30 - 12:00pm Lunch break: 12:00 - 1:30pm Session 2: 1:30 - 3:00pm
