Teacher Training Program
Teacher Training Program meets on Sundays & Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
The purpose of the Teacher Training Program (TTP) is to provide an extensive presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism to enable practitioners to deepen their knowledge and experience of Buddhism, and to train as qualified New Kadampa Tradition Teachers.
The program comprises the following twelve subjects, based on Buddha’s Sutra and Tantra teachings and the corresponding commentaries by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The Teacher Training Program takes approximately twelve years to complete.
TTP is studying The New Guide to Dakini Land by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. As this book is a Tantric text, students must have had a Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment from the New Kadampa Tradition in order to study it.
If you are interested in joining a formal study program, please contact the Education Program Coordinator at: firstname.lastname@example.org
