Liberation from Sorrow Prayers

Help the world by joining in prayers to Tara on the 8th of every month. In this powerful prayer, we recite sincere Prayers and Requests to the Assembly of 21 Taras and deeply request the Blessed Mother to bestow her blessings on all living beings so that all sickness and other obstacles are quickly removed.

POWA: Prayers for the Recently Deceased

Powa is a beautiful and powerful ritual practice drawn from the Buddhist tantras and enables us to benefit the deceased by coming together as a group and making prayers and offerings on their behalf.

Mahayana Precepts

15th day of the month, 7:00 - 7:30am

When we take precepts we have an opportunity to go inwards and focus on the practice of moral discipline, or non-harmfulness. This gentle practice is a way to cleanse our mind of negativity and fortify it through the practice of mindfulness. After we take precepts during the morning chanted prayers, we then practice fasting (we eat one meal only, for the day) and observe moral discipline throughout the day. Detailed instructions for this practice are provided in person, do not partake of any food in the morning before attending. Questions at:
