Meditations for Enjoying the Holidays

The holidays can be a special time of love and joy when we can reconnect with our family and friends. However, sometimes difficult minds can arise and it can become an uncomfortable affair. In this class series, we’ll discuss practical tools and simple meditations that will help us accept others without judgement and truly enjoy the holiday season.

This course is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. Everyone is welcome.

Overcoming Stress & Anxiety

Tuesdays, Nov 7 - Dec 19

These days almost everyone experiences stress and anxiety. In this half-day course, you’ll learn simple meditation techniques to reduce these difficult states of mind. We’ll explore the underlying causes of stress and anxiety, and learn new ways of thinking that will help us to respond to situations in a more positive and peaceful way. With these tools, our daily meditation practice can empower us to reduce and eventually overcome your stress and anxiety. We can mentally train to live without fear and enjoy life.

Guided Meditation

Wednesdays • 7 - 7:45pm • $5 • Included in Membership

Regular meditation practice is an important part of caring for ourselves and others. Come enjoy gentle guided meditations to calm your body and mind. Our experienced teacher will guide you as you learn to focus your mind. Then, gradually your distractions will subside and you’ll experience a sense of inner peace and relaxation. Your mind will feel lucid, spacious and refreshed!

Take a little time for self-care on your lunch break!  Enjoy 30 minutes of guided meditation that will leave you feeling calm, peaceful and refreshed. Meditation is a powerful tool that leads to greater peace and happiness in your daily life, allowing you to handle anything that comes your way with clarity. Meditation also help us to be more present, patient and flexible with others.
