Create your own happiness from within in 2023! In this series you will learn the building blocks of a good meditation and how to develop and maintain a daily meditation practice. Meditation is a life skill that helps us to develop healthy mental habits, leading to greater peace of mind, inner freedom and happiness.

 

Although presented in a series, each class is self-contained. Perfect for beginners and more experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.

In this class you will learn how to begin applying what you learn on the meditation cushion to your daily life.

Guided Meditation

Regular meditation practice is an important part of caring for ourselves and others. Come enjoy gentle guided meditations to calm your body and mind. Our experienced teacher will guide you as you learn to focus your mind. Then, gradually your distractions will subside and you’ll experience a sense of inner peace and relaxation. Your mind will feel lucid, spacious and refreshed! This class includes brief chanted prayers to settle the mind and create an inner environment for deep meditation, you are welcome to recite or just listen.

Take a little time for self-care on your lunch break!  Enjoy 30 minutes of guided meditation that will leave you feeling calm, peaceful and refreshed. Meditation is a powerful tool that leads to greater peace and happiness in your daily life, allowing you to handle anything that comes your way with clarity. Meditation also help us to be more present, patient and flexible with others!

Meditation is a life skill which helps us reduce our stress & anxiety, builds our power of concentration, and leads to beneficial and healthy states of mind. In this weekly meditation class, you will learn many different types of meditation: from simple breathing meditation, to profound meditations on equanimity, compassion and wisdom. The class will focus on building a daily meditation practice and on how to apply meditation practically in your daily life.

 

No previous meditation experience is necessary to attend.
