Online Daily Morning Meditations

Weekday Mornings • 8 - 8:30am • $5 • Free for Members
Guided by Meditation Teachers at KMC PHL

Daily morning meditations offer an opportunity to be guided by experienced meditators in Buddha’s Lamrim (Stages of the Path to Enlightenment) teachings. Guided meditation is an excellent way to learn meditation and prepares students for personal practice. It is also a perfect way for experienced meditators to let go and relax into deeper levels of concentration. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.

CURRENT SERIES: BECOMING NATURALLY HAPPY

Buddha taught there are eleven states of mind that are naturally virtuous. If a spoonful of sugar is stirred into a cup of tea, all the tea becomes sweet because sugar is by nature sweet. Similarly, when a positive mind is present, the entire mind and all thoughts and feelings also become positive and peaceful.

In this 11-week series, we will learn about each of the eleven virtuous states of mind that bring joy, peace and happiness to our life. Then, we will naturally live our best life, even in the midst of these unusual times.

 

Although presented in a series, each class is self-contained. Perfect for beginners and more experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome. No meditation experience is necessary.

Or is your mind racing all over the place?  This class will address these obstacles to meditation (called mental sinking & mental excitement), will give tips on how to develop focus and concentration, and will help you cultivate the inner balance that leads to peace an happiness in daily life.
