Everyday Mind Training
We all want to be free from problems and experience peace in our life. Buddha taught a special method to use every day of our life to gradually accomplish this. His teachings on loving kindness reveal how there’s a cause and effect relationship between our actions towards others and the experiences we have in the future. In this series of classes we’ll investigate how our own view of others changes our intentions, which change our potential for happiness.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. Everyone is welcome.

The Peace of Concentration
At the moment we may feel that our meditations and our life are pulling in different directions. In meditation we try to generate positive minds, but because we cannot stop thinking about our other activities, our concentration is very poor. In this series we will focus on meditations to calm and focus the mind, and then we'll practice building our mental "muscle" of concentration! With concentration we experience peace and we can accomplish all of our inner goals. Advice will also be given on how to bring these practices into our daily life so that our time "off the cushion" begins to support our time on the cushion.

"When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within. This feeling of contentment and well-being helps us cope with the busyness and difficulties of daily life." - Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
