Service Description
HALF-DAY COURSE: Finding Meaning in Daily Life - Training in the Seven Limbs Saturday, Sept 26th • 10:30am - 1:30pm • $20 with Resident Teacher, John Baker To solve our daily problems, Buddha taught many methods to bring our meditation practice into our daily life. One such method is training in the seven limbs: prostration, offerings, confession, rejoicing, beseeching the holy beings to remain, requesting the turning of the Wheel of Dharma and dedication. The "limbs" support our meditation practice and our happy mind in the same way our physical limbs support our body. With these practices we can accumulate merit, or good fortune, and purify negativity in our mind both during our formal meditation practice and as we go about our daily activities. Everyone Welcome. No Experience Necessary. SCHEDULE: Session 1: 10:30am - 12:00pm Break: 12:00 - 12:30pm Session 2: 12:30 - 1:30pm
