A Buddhist Meditation On Fear

Service Description
Fright Night: A Buddhist Meditation on Fear Friday, October 31st • 7-9pm • $20 with Resident Teacher, John Baker Halloween is a time for fright nights, scary movies, and ghost stories. Jump scares and zombies are fun, but did you know that fear can also be powerful motivator for our meditation practice? The mind is so powerful that it creates worlds for us. The scariest places are created by the most negative states of mind. When we have an insight - a wisdom fear of the potential of our mind to create havoc - we become empowered to seek protection and train our mind. We can then be liberated from all suffering and all fears. Join us for a special Halloween teaching and meditation. Costumes are welcome and treats will be served following the meditation! SCHEDULE 7-8pm class 8-9pm party & refreshments
